Homeless, people with disabilities, children, and women are always the most vulnerable group when it comes to any crisis, they are affected directly and indirectly especially during the COVID pandemic like this. Many are pushed out of education and their jobs which makes them unable to access a meal daily.
.
The stress and anxiety from a pandemic, recession, and food shortage impact their healths both physical and mental healths. For this reason, Central Food Hall, Family Mart, and Cook for SOS want to reduce this great burden off their shoulders by donating quality surplus food 1,260 meals or 300 kg. under the Food Rescue Program and Cook for SOS program in Phuket to 450 people from:
.
Phuket Disability Association
Phuket Protection Center for Destitute
Phuket Protection Children and Family Center
COVID-19 Care Centre at a field hospital
.
SOS and our generous donors hope that these foods will give them the strength and encouragement to continue their lives where we hope all of us will fight and get through this crisis together. We also appreciate the contribution from our donors who donate these foods to the homeless, people with disabilities, children, and women. Thank you.
.
SOS would like to invite everyone to be a part of helping people who are in need whether by funding or donating food to go through this crisis together
