SOS Gets Ready to Start Food Rescue Operations in Chiang Mai to Help Communities in the North!

Our mission is to improve food equity in Thailand which we have been rescuing surplus food and serving them to vulnerable communities in Bangkok, Phuket, and Hua Hin. Over 13 million meals were served so far in the past 5 years.

.

‘Chiang Mai’ is the top destination for us that we have been wanting to operate since the early years. But with all the recent challenges and the unexpected situations that occurred, we had to undeniably delay the progress.

.

However, during this year-ending period of 2021, we see that the situations around us are getting resolved. We feel that it’s the right time for us to extend our help and support to the North of Thailand where there are still many communities heavily affected by the Covid-19 and many remote communities that have not received adequate support.

.

So, we are more than ready to be there in Chiang Mai soon.
