SOS sent 6 new Food Rescue Ambassadors to the Health Department for attending 3 hours of food handling training and food contact examination. . The purpose of the training was to make them a professional when it comes to handling food related duties, such as food distributor, food processor, waiter, cooking, and also a person who deals with the hygiene of the equipment such as the food containers. . As a result they all passed their examination, received their Food Handling Certificate, and are now ready to be in action. . Not to mention not merely SOS went for this food handling training and examination, because there were other people such as convenience store employees and department stores employees that wanted to obtain more knowledge about the food related duties and be professional at treating food properly. .
